Keys - Frequency of occurence

The Kanji "in common use" are classified under keys very unevenly : from 110 for 氵- water or liquid - to only one for 谷 - the valley. Out of a total of 214 keys, only 24 serve to classify a minimum of 20 Kanji each. Besides, these 24 keys broken down into two types : "nature" & "human being". The breakdown, in its symmetry, is like a Gauss distribution : the two types are balanced.

• It is to be noticed that : the weight of these 24 keys (11% of total) : they serve to classify 1,243 Kanji (58%). Those whom it is necessary to know first and foremost.
• in the country of Amaterasu, the most common key is 氵, the water or liquid , not the person 亻.

To illustrate the concept of "family", we have chosen the key of "Fish 魚 UŌ - sakana", because it also might be useful if you are going to eat "sushi" in a restaurant run by a Japanese "itamaesan 板前さん", when the menu is displayed in Kanji.
